Solutions / Assessment & Measurement

Completion is a metric. Capability is the outcome.

Completion rates tell you people finished. They don't tell you whether anyone changed what they do, improved how they perform, or advanced toward the outcome the program was designed to produce. iCurric designs assessment and measurement systems that get to the second question.

The Gap

What most learning measurement gets wrong.

Most programs measure what's easy to measure: attendance, module completion, quiz scores, and satisfaction ratings. Those metrics have their place, but they don't answer the questions funders, executives, and program directors actually need answered.

Did participants gain capability they didn't have before?

Did they apply it?

Did it change their performance, their business, or their economic situation?

Was the investment worth it?

Measurement that can't answer those questions can't justify program continuation, secure renewed funding, or inform meaningful improvement.

What We Design

Assessment & measurement from iCurric.

Framework

Outcome Framework Design

Before any assessment is built, iCurric establishes what the program is actually trying to change, and what evidence would demonstrate that change.

Formative

Formative Assessment Design

Assessment built into the learning experience, checks for understanding, application exercises, scenario-based assessments, and reflective prompts.

Summative

Summative Assessment Design

End-of-program and post-program assessments that evaluate whether learners acquired the knowledge, skill, or capability the program was designed to produce.

Reporting

Data Reporting for Funders & Leadership

Reporting frameworks that translate program data into the evidence funders, boards, and organizational leaders need, funder-ready reports, dashboard configurations, and data visualization.

Evaluate

Program Evaluation

Structured evaluations reviewing design, delivery, assessment data, and participant outcomes, identifying what is working, what is not, and what the data actually shows.

The Result

Evidence, not anecdotes

A measurement system that answers the capability question, and produces the data that renews funding and drives real improvement.

What Is Delivered

A measurement system you can act on.

Questions

What teams ask about measurement.

What's the difference between assessment and evaluation?+

Assessment measures whether individual learners achieved program learning outcomes. Evaluation assesses whether the program itself is working at the program level. iCurric designs both.

How do you measure learning outcomes beyond completion rates?+

Pre/post knowledge assessments, applied performance tasks, follow-up surveys at 30, 60, or 90 days post-program, and connection to downstream indicators like revenue, employment, or retention.

Can you design reporting that meets funder requirements?+

Yes. iCurric has designed reporting frameworks for programs funded by corporate foundations, government workforce boards, and international development organizations.

What if our program doesn't currently collect any data?+

We start with what's feasible and build measurement capacity over time. A Learning Diagnostic identifies what data is currently available and what a realistic measurement system looks like for your program.
