Solutions / Curriculum & Program Design

Curriculum designed for how people actually learn.

Knowing what to do is rarely what stops people. Barriers stop people, shift schedules, device access, language, confidence, cost, and the way an organization itself is structured. iCurric designs curriculum that addresses those barriers from the start, so what people learn is what they can actually apply.

Why most curriculum doesn’t transfer

Content is the easy part. Context is what’s missing.

Standard curriculum design focuses on content: what to teach, in what sequence, at what level. What it misses is context, the real-world conditions that determine whether a learner can act on what they’ve been taught.

The entrepreneur

Learns marketing strategy in a four-hour session, then has to apply it after a full workday, on a phone, without a team.

The frontline worker

Completes a compliance module, then has to navigate a supervisor who doesn’t reinforce the new behavior.

Curriculum that ignores those realities is curriculum that doesn’t work, no matter how well it’s written.

Questions

Frequently asked.

What is barrier-informed curriculum design?+

An approach that identifies the practical, cultural, technological, economic, and motivational factors that prevent learners from applying what they learn, and addresses those barriers directly in the curriculum design.

How long does curriculum development take?+

A single workshop or module typically takes two to four weeks. A multi-module program or full curriculum build typically takes eight to sixteen weeks.

Do you work with subject matter experts?+

Yes. Many iCurric engagements begin with existing knowledge, internal experts, legacy content, or prior workshops. We structure and design that knowledge into curriculum learners can navigate and apply.

Can you design curriculum for on-demand delivery?+

Yes. iCurric designs for in-person, virtual, blended, and fully on-demand formats, including programs accessed via mobile.
