Our Approach / iCurric360™
Most learning programs are designed around content. iCurric360™ is designed around context, the full set of conditions that determine whether a learner can actually apply what a program teaches.
Why It Exists
Organizations invest in learning programs because they want something to change, behavior, capability, performance, economic outcomes. But knowing what to do is rarely what prevents people from doing it.
A small business owner who learns digital marketing in a four-hour session still has to apply it after a full workday, on a phone with unreliable data, without a team. A frontline worker who completes a compliance module still has to navigate a work environment that doesn't reinforce the new behavior. An entrepreneur who finishes a business planning curriculum still has to access capital in a system that wasn't designed for them.
Programs that ignore those realities teach well and change little. iCurric360™ exists because learning design that doesn't account for the whole learner, their context, barriers, culture, access, and real-world application environment, produces programs that complete but don't transform.
The Framework
iCurric360™ is iCurric's proprietary learning design framework. It guides the design of every curriculum, platform, and media component iCurric produces, ensuring learning programs address the full range of factors that determine whether learners can apply what they've learned and achieve measurable outcomes. It's called 360 because it considers the learner from every angle: intellectual, emotional, cultural, technological, and real-world.
How Success Is Measured
Satisfaction scores and completion rates are data points. These are outcomes.
Employment rate at 6 and 12 months post-completion; job retention at 18 months
Wage at placement and wage growth over time
Barrier removal rate, the share of participants who received the transportation, childcare, capital, or legal support the audit identified
Business launch and survival rates at 1, 2, and 3 years for entrepreneurship programs
In Practice
iCurric360™ is not applied after a program is designed. It is the lens through which every design decision is made, from the first learner analysis to the final assessment. In every engagement, it shapes:
Proof
Questions
It identifies the structural, relational, and resource barriers that prevent learners from applying what they learn, and addresses them directly in the program design, before outcomes are even defined. Structural barriers include credential requirements, licensing, and access to capital. Relational barriers include mentorship, networks, and references. Resource barriers include time, childcare, technology access, and financial constraints.
Most frameworks focus on content structure and learning objectives. iCurric360™ focuses on the full learner context, barriers, cultural factors, access constraints, and real-world application conditions that determine whether learning actually transfers.
It applies to all program types. The outcomes change by market, capability and performance in corporate learning, employment and advancement in workforce, revenue and growth in entrepreneurship, but the design principles are the same.
Yes. A curriculum audit or Learning Diagnostic reviews an existing program against the framework and identifies where barrier-informed design would strengthen outcomes.
